Drudge doesn't report some of the other startling details in the book, like 2 of Kerry's purple heart wounds were thought to be self inflicted by the doctor that treated him.

Intersting there GG! I just can't believe people will actually vote for Kerry. His image does not look like that of a president. Another question, how much more dirt is under the rug that hasn't been dug out yet?

I simply dosnt matter, The people voting for Kerry are just voting against George Bush, Mickey Mouse would get the same amount of votes were he running for president against GW. He*l, Charles Manson would too as He isnt GW.

let's face it, demo's emptied their magazine at<br />the convention and it did little if any good in<br />the polls. Does anyone realize that not a single person who is attacking Kerry in that book even served on his boat? I would think the people that served with him on the boat would be a little more credible. But thats just me I guess.

This is interesting stuff.<br />Your 'friend' Mr Kerry had a very glowing writeup in the papers here in NZ this past week. They are painting him as a "HERO" but methinks that most of you know better than that dont you.<br />I am not sure what is going on but the article leaned very heavily on a very old link to JFK good or bad ?<br /><br />Interesting stuff but I dont have to vote for him at the end of the day..<br />Regards<br /><br />Peter

Audy Murphy was the most decorated person ever. He got shot in the fanny. No missing limbs etc. Does that mean he was not as he was.<br /> The people putting this book out have no other purpose than to make Kerry look bad? They never served with him? How many are lifer's(people who could not make it in the real world)? How many think that because he said Vietnam was bad(GW said he didn't go because it was wrong?) are doing this.<br /> He was only in Vietnam for a few months. How long was GW there? What a hoot! Oh, I forgot, he is now "born again" so that makes it all ok. He is also ***** whipped and couldn't even go to the congress about 9-11 without Cheney(vice pres?) to tell the truth about what the admin knew. This also not under oath.<br /> All I ask is to keep an open mind and think.<br />Look internally to your past. Look at the present. <br />If you can really think that GW is the best we can do then it is your choice. If not then it is our choice. Besides, if you were in the military remember, you salute the uniform, not the person.

I say it'd be pretty hard to salute an empty uniform!<br /><br />But that aside. John Kerry has potentially dug his own grave. He was the one who brought up and made such a big deal about Vietnam. Besides the fact he had absolutley nothing to run on, he thought he'd get a leg up on GW for not going.<br /><br />The more he was pressed for some substance, beyond hating Bush, the more he has tried to pump up his (at minimum) over inflated Vietnam experience. His whole candidacy is built on a house of cards. Mark my words, come November, you're going to see nothing left of Kerry but a small pile of twisted matchsticks!<br /><br />And telmanmn, you're more than welcome to keep to your Wellstonian, Minnesotan socialism. I usually stay out of stuff like this but after reading some responses here I wonder how many here have ever been in a combat situation. Only those who were there know what really happened.<br />Nam was not Dodge City with a one on one situation..Everyone was our enemy until proven otherwise. That lone teenager more than likely five minutes before had a rifle in his hand..You don't know unless you were there. As a doc I treated both sides..Those innocent villagers wives were often found strapped with grenades after they were shot. Or how about babies left on the ground for some poor GI to pick up only to be blown apart by boobie traps.<br /><br />Most of us Nam vets are for Bush..But Kerry still is a brother that fought in more than one engagement. So what if he threw his medals in the river it was his right..Stay with the facts..Judge him on his political stance not what he had to do more than 30 years ago..He is a fake as far as I am concerned but not because of Nam...Its what he did after and by voting the way he has..Its no different today ..Look at Irag.. do you see similarities..Who is the enemy???In a combat situation shoot first and ask forgivness later if need be..I can run my mouth now cause I am actually going to vote this year for the first time in my life..It makes sense now to me..
