I never have but i assume it would be just like running rope lights. Seems pretty easy, I have some led strip lights i'm going install in my boat once im at that stage. Really easy. Has a sticky backing that you can just peal and stick the lights were you want, and then for power you can run to a switch or run to a cig lighter. Controller remote allows you to change colors and patterns. lights are waterproof as well and take hardly any voltage to run
