New to the forum and pocket cruisers, spent most of my life on open bows and pontoons.
Currently under contract on 2005 250 CR with an 8.1L, the boat is in an estate in Brooklyn, NY. Stated to have 20hrs on a new long block. This boat was listed with POP Yachts, I plan to fly up and inspect and also hire a mechanic to look over.
Anyone here know this boat?
What are the key things to look at or for?
My plan is a compression check, mechanic inspection of mani's/risers, and power up electrical system to see what works and what does not.
I am hoping that someone that would put a long block in 20hrs ago that they would pay up for other items to be inspected/replaced.
