Uh Oh! Is my thinking flawed? 2 part foam issue

I just built two structures in the back of my boat out of 1 inch rigid Ownes Cornering Pink foam. This idea was to create an area for me to pour 2 part foam in for flotation.

Here is my question. Is the 2 part foam going to eat the pink stuff until it kicks? I can line the cavity with plastic, but that would not be ideal. I have pictures and a video that I will post later on, but we have a birthday party to go too.

I hope I did not screw up, as these little pods are awesome!
