Neat boat, BUT..... $500 for a boat thats stripped and has no trailer and the outboard is a Chrysler that does not run?????

That should be a free boat. If you show up with a trailer, I bet you can get it for next to nothing.

I sold a Chrysler motor for 250 bucks with a blown power head, this one comes with an extra motor! I figure I'd lowball the guy if I even go look at it. After watching 20+ boats heading north for the opener, I noticed a disturbing trend....they all look like this boat. I'm the type that likes to have things that stand out a little more from the crowd....one of the reasons I haven't given up on the glastron.... I've already got 300 invested in the glastron.....which is why I'm even reluctant to consider the boat. Would be an easy turn around project with the potential to make a small profit ( though unlikely )

I am a fan of the aluminum boats. That boat may be worth every penny of the asking price.

Yeah, one of the reasons I am interested in it...just much easier for a guy in my position to work on. It's a matter of deciding whether I want a project that I can finish in a hurry, or one that I will have a harder time with, but be really cool when it is done. It's a harder decision that I ever thought I'd face. The harder part of it too, is that I have a 14ft fishing boat already....

Gah, I can't ever get an honest answer. She doesn't seem opposed to the boat really, just indifferent. She wants that central air installed/priced first. Anyone wanna sell me a good cheap system so I can get her off my back?
