So I'm brand new to this site, and I tried doing a search but I couldn't find what I needed.

I've got a 1977 Evinrude 115 and I need to put a new water pump on it, and I've been reading all these problems about this year and how there are two different water pumps depending on the length of the shaft (20" or 25").

Can you tell based on the model number? Mine is 115793S, and the serial number is 0006472.

Thanks in advance for the help.

If you are looking for just the impeller, it was part number 385528, replaced by 389642, replaced by 777212. All replaced by Sierra Marine 18-3043, here at iboats.

Thanks guys.

I was looking for the kit, that has all the gaskets, o-rings, etc. associated with replacing the water pump

So is it a 20" or a 25"?
