U joint bearing retainer nut frozen MR drive

Bought the wrench cant turn the nut . Tried Yield. Tried extending wrench. Is heat ok to apply? To which, the nut or housing?
Not been my day

Finally got it free. Laid drive on its side on a sheet of plywood supporting drive with wood blocks to protect fins. Hit wrench with hammer until free. Don't like doing this but nothing was working.

At every shop I’ve ever worked at. That tool is always all beat up on the sides from hitting it with a hammer. That’s just how you use the tool.
