Just purchased a 2007 Tyee Gran SPort 1850 with a 150 Merc Verado and a 9.9 Merc kicker. Generally an ok boat but I have some significant issues with the steering. The steering is tight, and I always find myself over-compensating. This happens at any speed. Tomorrow I will try disconnecting the kicker to see if that makes it easier. It should but also seems to be something I should not have to do. Steering system is not power ....it's hydraulic. Dealer didn't tell me the difference when I purchased or I would have had that added. At these prices no more sticker shock would have hurt me. ANyone have any similar issues with the steering on their Lund?
