ondarver, That is a new one. That makes no sense, as 2 cycle motors at idle can run on 100::1 or higher fuel/oil mixes w/o issue. Did the manual identify the reason for the damage?

I didn't say it was true or not, or how likely it was, and I don't doubt it can and has happened. But of the many 2 strokes I've owned over the years and put mega hours on them trolling, I have never known it to be a problem.
