I have a 2013 215xi and absolutely love it. Very very few problems. (knock on wood) but 2 problems I do have is with the thru hull sonar and now the fuel sending unit.

1.) Recently the fuel gauge stopped working properly and from my research I believe it would be the fuel sending unit. I replaced this on a previous boat, so I know its a fairly easy task. My question is, how can I easily get to it to replace it? It seems to be under the floor and I wouldn't be able to get to it.

2.) The thru hull sonar, (depth gauge built into the dash) hasn't worked since I owned the boat. Where is the thru hull sonar so I can troubleshoot the issue?

If you have a 215 (or very similar boat) please help! Pictures would be helpful! THANK YOU!!

Check the wiring first. Most likely a bad connection

Transducer would be under the motor

The fuel tank sender area should be accessible by opening one of the deck plates. Either towards the stern or in the ski locker.
