Two Motors Need Years

Purchased two Motors Need Years of both.

1.) Johnson 7.5hp Model #J8RCTA & Serial #E5743410,

2.) Evinrude 6hp Model #E6RCUD & Serial #B1388329,

Hope someone can help with this information, would really appreciate it.

The 7.5 is an 83, the 6 is an 87

The two letters before the last one is the year code. Code word is INTRODUCES, where I = 1, N = 2, T = 3, and so on.
