twin omc 140 loopers

still searching for answers.
1989 omc 140 loopers
new impellers and housings
new fuel pumps/ filters
removed oil injecters,disconected tan wire on back of engines( port side) and harness connector.
I was told there is a ball spring in fuel line by tank,might be rusted but could not find it (in the 90 on tank)
The engines run fine for about 3 to 5 min.(wot) then drop down to idle at the same time.
Good water out pee hole.
vapor lock? thermostat? vro? fuel problem? overheating even when pee water is just warm?
Need Help Please!

These engine have 2 pickups tubes in the fuel tank, one to port engine, one to starboard engine? Your batteries, switches, and wires look like a rats nest?
