I live in the country. It's hard to winterize my customers boats when my shop is invaded by turkeys!

Well I've seen birds in Home Depot but that is just ridiculous. Maybe they were attracted by the "fowl" smell of the fogging oil. Badoomboom. Aaaathankyouverymuch.

Offer them a pan and broom and tell them to clean up. If any of them refuse, pick one out for the freezer. :hungry:
It only takes one and the rest will fowl inline. Fowl inline ...get it.... fowl inline... :pound:

Somebody has been feeding them for quite a while for that to happen, I think. There all over the place around here also, but never seen them even attempt to get close to anyone.

Is pretty cool, maybe get a fire cracker

Actually we've had peacocks this year. I have never ever seen wild peacocks before, but for some strange reason they showed up this year. We've spotted them three different times now and a lot of them when we spot them as well. :noidea:

Maybe offer them as an incentive ... A free turkey with every service ! While supply's last !

I think you're right. I think these things are somebody's pets. Later this evening my buddy brought his dogs over and they walked right up to them.

Right hand true story. It turns out a couple of properties over I think somebody has started a rescue Barn for Wayward animals. I just found this out late this evening from another neighbor. Looks like I hosted a few runaways all day long.

On an interesting note, the neighbor claims they are not wild turkeys but something called a brown turkey

Something doesn't jive with those turkeys. Sorry. I don't have anything else to add.

I think you missed post 12. I was talking to a neighbor across the street from me as I was shutting up the shop. He explained to me what I mentioned in post 12. I certainly didn't mean to mislead anybody I had no idea and I have the stained shorts from the first time I looked up and saw them to prove it

I was just trying my hand at thinly veiled bad comedy. I was searching for "jive turkey" and maybe a giggle. Being from long island we don't really see turkeys too often so I couldn't relate. Just having some fun with some terrible humor. We were typing at the same time though so I didn't see post 12.

Gotcha. If I was wittier id have caught it. Everyone in the world is more up-to-date than I am when it comes to jokes and humor

I seem to gravitate toward the dry, bad type so I don't think that makes me any better. Lol

Jake - You should "rescue" a few of the birds and have a turkey fry.
