Sure it will pull a tube but it will be limited. A lot will depend on the type of tube, the number of people on the tube and the size of the people you want to pull. You'll probably need to put a rider in the front to keep the bow down and you might feel the stern being pulled around on turns (sliding). Also probably won't be real fast at it but young kids should still enjoy a good time.

Also welcome to the forum and where you @ Northwoods?

Welcome to iboats.

You should be ok with a tube and smaller person.

You would do better with an old fashioned disk.

Thats a 36"-48" diameter, round piece of plywood, painted- smooth.
THe rider kneels on it, and leans back to keep the front up, and can lean side to side, to steer a little bit.

As you will see there are a number of members here from Wisconsin. Good bunch of people, maybe one day we should have a Wisconsin Roll Call.

Like THIS. It'll work fine behind your boat. Enjoy.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Do you think my boat has enough structural support to pull the tube using the tow hookup that I linked to?

Don't see any reason why it shouldn't. Those things have been around for a long time.

I'm on a rock (island), in a pond, on an island, in a lake, on an island, in a lake. :)

Or more accurately:

When Moose Flats is a pond, Moose Boulder becomes the largest island in the largest lake on the largest island in the largest lake on the largest island in the largest lake in the world.

I know, you are probably on the other Siskiwit lake.
But hearing the name, I remembered the story.

You can tube behind it, and if you have a good skier someone can ski behind it as well. It wont be fast, however it will do the job.

those of us who grew up on the water usually started as boys and girls with small rigs like that and we would tow anything or anyone behind them!

In addition to sliding, watch out for the tube submarining and back off immediately if it does. that is one force your rig might not handle.

Yeah ... hook it up to the "handles" on the back of the boat and it'll do just fine. Same harness I use on mine.

It is also worth noting that it is pretty easy to get out of control with those hulls when they are at WOT.....especially hitting a chop or your own wake......and probably exaggerated to some degree when towing something. Just something to be aware of when you do it.

Put a body in the bow, or 1 seat back, for stability and to keep the bow down...... You legally need an extra person in the boat when tubing anyway....

Thanks again for the info. Won't get a chance to tube this year as its already getting colder but I'm going to keep my eye out for clearance on tubes.
