Tube pulling?

2021 90hp sylvan 21ft fish n cruise, we recently boat a 3 person big mable tube for it and a cheap tow rope.
What’s a good way to hook it up? Can you tie right to a cleat at the back?
I ordered one of those tow harnesses but it’s not sounding like it’s going to be here for my daughters birthday this weekend, I know it prolly won’t pull the best from one cleat but would this be the proper way to hook it up?

a tow bar would interfere with the fishing station.

If it were mine, I wouldn't pull a Big Mable from a cleat. If there is an eye on the back of the log, I'd use that. But my first choice would be to pay for a proper harness I could pick up locally and figure out what to do with the other one later.

make a harness. two pool noodles and a section of heavy 3/4" poly rope. make a y-bridle. the pool noodles are to keep the rope from sinking into your prop.

I ordered a 5 person pull toy.-----When looking for a tow rope the sales person asked ---" do you have enough power " and I said " 150 HP "-----So the rope I got would pull a small car out of a ditch.------All I am saying is make sure you have hefty rope and a solid place to hook onto the boat.-----It takes a lot more effort to pull these things then you might think.

That cleat may be (is probably) fastened to nothing but 3/4" plywood deck material.

Well! We did it! And to much surprise, it pulled great. Had the wife reel people in and babysit the prop (tow rope) till I got more comfortable, so for the info,
2021 sylvan, 25” tubes, 21ft 90hp yammer.
I can get about 25.5-26 with just me, 24-25 with the family, and with 7 (grown) adults, and 7 small children, I was pulling 18-19mph with a 3 person tube on back, which was fast enough to dump riders when a few swells came in.
Wot, 18-19mph, at 5200rpm. Now I’d like to know what kind of prop would benefit these types of events? MO-POWA MO-speed if possible. I know a toon isn’t going to be fast, but it would be cool to have a prop for this.
13 1/2 x12-k prop is why came factory, would going down 1 pitch and switching to a 4 blade do any good? Would just like to get the rpms up in the 4600-6000 range, and I most likely will seldom be loaded down this much, but it would be cool to have a tubing prop as a spare emergency prop.

mom aware some people hate these things, but I stubbed my toe on every one of those.

Those speeds with that setup seems right on the money to me. If you want a spare prop, try the Yamaha Prop Selector website for good advice.

My target rpm would be about 5500. If you turn a 4 stoke up to max rpm (6K) they sound pretty busy, and they're no faster , don't have any more power than they do at 5500. That's been my experience anyway.

4 blade alum Solace props just a few bucks more than a 3 blade. Upside would be more thrust available while maneuvering at docking/trailering speeds, and should get the boat moving a hair quicker (depending on how it's loaded).
