What are the differences between the Phantom and Nordic models, circa 1985-1990?

If i recall correctly the Nordics have a deeper hull and different interior layout.

I have a 1980 Nordic it is a basic runabout with a closed bow.
Mine in 20 foot 9 inches and bram is 92 inches. they also made a 22 foot model in 1980.

I can't speak to 1985-1990 but I have a 1984 Nordic model Crestliner 18' and it's an open bow rider. In the early 80's the company name was The Nordic Boat Company in Little Falls Minnesota.

. Capndan, go take a look at the Crestliner website. The have an archive of old sales brochures and I think they have a 1985. The other key difference is the phantom models are fiberglass vs. aluminum fishing boats.
