Trophy 2002ff Seats

HI GUYS
Has any one had any experiance altering the height of the pedestal on a trophy? as when i removed the seat assembly and shroud from the top of the pedastal there did not seem any way to remove the inner machined section ! i do not want to remove the base as i cant get at the nuts underneath to replace them ! ( the admiral is only 5' tall and this could seriously affect my boat usage if not sorted ! any advice apreciated .

You may be able to replace the support pole with a new one. I have not tried that though. The other option is to get a foot rest that clamps onto the seat post. I believe Garelick makes one that just clamps on and can swing out of the way. Good Luck.
