I have a 2004 Honda 8hp with power trim and bought a trollmaster to have remote control of the motor. Unfortunately where the trollmaster is supposed to mount there is a bracket that holds 2 electrical plugs for the power-trim (apparently Trollmaster was unaware of this conflict and they will update their install insructions) they say to "remove the plugs and move them to the wiring harness or rubber hose above the carburetor and secure them with two spot ties". Does that sound like an ok 'fix' to the problem? Would it void my warranty?
