Trolling motor wires on 98 tracker 21' deck

Just purchased the boat and seems to be in good shape.

It has a 4 prong trolling motor plug up front but I can't find any trolling wires in the rear. Any ideas?

Welcome to iboats!:welcome:

A couple of possibilities come to mind:

1. There is another battery compartment toward the bow.

2. The previous owner hacked off the wires for some reason.

If #1 doesn't pan out, start by removing the bow panel and see if there are wires attached to the receptacle, and if so, where they lead.

i have a 2000 model and the wiring is located under the walk way to the back i get to it through the access door under the walk way
