Trim trouble please help

Hey guys, on my 1990 evinrude 150 while I'm running down the lake trimming the motor up it will trim up so High and that's it. Sitting or on the trailer it will trim and tilt up ss high as I want it to what could be my problem

While in the water, you are at the end of your trim limit. On land your tilt is lifting the motor, after the trim limit, and is not designed to over come the power of the motor to push the boat. You will find that the trim is slow, and when in tilt, its faster, on land.

Y'up and anything over 1500rpm disengages the ability to use the "tilt" in a tilt/trim unit.

Hey thanks guys that makes me feel a lot better knowing theres nothing wrong with the tilt trim. I was at the lake and noticed my boat was not throwing a rooster tail I thought the motor was not trimming up enough, engine is sitting very low I guess I need ti raise it with the jack plate.
