Hello, my 1983 Suzuki DT85 outboard motor was running perfectly fine until I went to tilt my trim up or down and there was no reaction.
I can hear the relays' clicks meaning they are getting power. The battery is brand new so not the problem.
I've tried hitting the trim motor with a hammer while pressing the trim button but didn't work, really need some help before spending around 600$ on a new replacement.
Any help will be appreciated thanks.
I also cannot manually put down the motor as there is no screw where I can slowly manually let it down as well due to the model of the motor.

try shorting around the T&T relay to get the motor to move, (disconnect the main wires at the relay) to the T&T motor and jumper 12 V + & - to them from a battery with jumper cables
if that works the T&T motor is still good and you just need to replace the relay

hitting that motor with a hammer can knock the glued on magnets loose and bind up the motor
