Re: Trim / Tilt Motor Wiring digram
Hi Prowler3845, With a little luck someone here will have the actual wiring diagram. While we wait and see take a look for a group of relays that were part of the T&T system? The wiring basics are like this, the motor black wire is the common wire that connects to the battery negative, the RED and BLUE connect ONE at a time to the battery positive through the switch and possibly some relays and a fuse to provide up or down. One way to tell is check the wire sizes that connect to the switch, if they're small diameter and about number 16 guage more or less then you must have have relays somewhere, if the wires are large like number 8 or 10 then you have a direct wired T&T switch. If direct wired without relays connect the battery positive with an in line fuse to the switch center terminal, connect the RED and BLUE one each to the other switch terminals, then try it and if it goes the wrong way either turn the switch a half turn or reverse the RED and BLUE wires on the switch. If you fine relays you have a different situation. Check it out and post the results. Good luck, Ken
