Are you talking about the exhaust snout/trim tab? If so, I suggest that you start looking on ebay. There are also engine used parts houses like American Outboard that may have one. Try calling these folks

The 1996 75 hp doesn't have an exhaust snout.

It uses a Mercury style tab.

Mercury part number 17264T2 $18 from any Mercury dealer.

Several other part numbers may also fit, don't know which ones.
