Trim Sensor Part #

I can typically find what I need by searching the forums but I need a little help this time. I'm trying to figure out the correct, most up to date part # for my trim sensor so I can order a new one.

The part # on the sensor that needs to be replaced is 3861837.

Transom plate Prod #3868844, Type tsk sx-m, Serial # 4151084176

Outdrive Prod #3868913, Type dp-sm 1.95 (m22), Serial #4151084176

Engine Prod #3869255, Type 5.0 gxi-e, Serial #4012147734

The 3861837 number has been superseded several times, it is now 3594989

Thanks for the help don S. These sensors used to be $70 or $80, man they have gone up in price. I wonder if there is much difference in these newer sensors?

Not really, just the price. Now you know why people learn to trim by feel of the boat, speed and rpm. The ole seat of the pants method.
