Seeing where you're from you'll probably need the OMC special tool and some heat to get the cap off to get at the seals. You can buy a spanner wrench and that may work. Once you get the cap off it's pretty easy to replace the seals.
Trim up the engine and 'lock' and secure it in tilted position.
Open the manual release valve to remove internal pressure.
Unscrew the trim cylinder cap. NB: Use correct tool!!!!!
Change seal and re-install.
Refill oil if needed.
Quite an easy task.
Tilt cylinder however is a bit more tricky as the big top bolt has to be removed first.
I made a spanner out of two pieces of angle iron and three bolts. The bolts need to just fit the holes in the cap. Use some penetrating oil to help it get loose.
If you have a shop with all the right equipment it's easy to do. I've made a lot " Special Tools " over the years when I didn't have the correct one. Nothing wrong with it.
