Trim relay 1995 150 Evinrude EXEOM

One seems to be going bad. Knock it and it works, otherwise a bit intermittent. Can it be opened and cleaned? Should both be replaced? Thanks

You can try opening it up it up and cleaning. Also check the contact area where it plugs into. Normally they are replaced in pairs. Somebody chimed in here awhile back where you could get a good price on them but can't remember who. Check the postings.

Thank you for your reply. Found two new with shipping for 33.00 . Why mess with it at that price?
