trim problem

i had my trim limit switch replaced on alpha i sterndrive but the trimup still doesnt work the down button works but the only way to bring the outdrive up is with the trailer button thanks for any help

What Don said, but one other thought. Is it possible that its waaay out of adjustment? I replaced my limit switch last year, it was behaving in exactly the same manner, but was surprised how little I could trim the drive before hitting the limit after I adjusted it per the instructions.
