Trim motor

My trim motor will go up but not down, its on a 175 mariner. Can i get it rebuilt or have to buy a new one if so how much do they cost?

What year is that motor? Does it have two solenoids or two relays. It could be something as simple as a bad solenoid or relay, or a wiring issue.

Its an 89 175 mariner and has two solenoids.

OK, Why not switch the two wires (blue, green) on the solenoids? If the behavior is the same the motor may be bad. If the behavior is opposite, the solenoid or wiring is bad.
