Trim issues

Are you sure the battery itself is good? Also I once had a trim motor i thought was gone, so nothing to loose, i took it apart and found one of the brushes had a loose wire. I resoldered it, cleaned up the inside of the motor and put it all together and it worked perfect. I wouldn't buy a new one without at least trying to fix it (if it's indeed the motor!)

Just finished replacing the trim pump. Lower unit raises and lowers perfectly. Whether it was a bad pump or loosening and tightening wires bettered my connection, we'll never know. But Ill have some peace of mind when pulling out knowing I won't drag off whats leftt of the skeg.
