Trim Fault buzzer 02 Optimax

I recently purchased a used 02 150 optimax with the sc1000 smartcraft gauge.
The marina mounted and watertested and never mentioned anything.
Its pushing a 19' deep v
everytime i start the engine the gauge reads Fault Trim and beeps.
it trims all the way up and down without any issues.
Any ideas or clues to what this could be?

It maybe a problem with the trim sender,or possibly the trim wasn't setup correctly by the marina. Check the manual that should have come with the guages,it will tell you the way to check the setup of the guage.

thats whats tough.
I got no paperwork for any of the installed items.
I have to order a engine manual as well.
