Have a 1999 75 Force 3-Cylinder. A few weeks ago trim stopped going Up randomly but works going down perfectly. When I had the issue I squeezed the relay with some plyers lightly to ensure fit and sometimes that would work. I kept hearing a relay click but would not go up. Purchased and replace the rely which I thought fixed the issue.
Out on the lake the other day and after coming to a stop motor would not trim up (any of the three switches I have). Waiting a little while (15) or so it starts working by itself again. Happened multiple times after (same thing) but only when I stopped the boat (trim worked fine while driving).
A little confused as why Trim would do this even with a new relay. Thanks for any advice.
