ok i have been looking for the old deck and i know it's down there some place. should i leave the top on or should i remove the rub rail and remove the top then proceed to remove the old deckS ? oh... i will have to replace the transom too... as seen in the last picture. the last four pix are pretty much the same spot, just not in the right order<br />

Draw a sketch of the hull and take alot of measurements to to give you some reference on the put back. Check for square where applicable. Take a lot of photos prior to each step of demo. You will not remember everything. I think its agood idea to leave some structure intact if and where you can. A completely gutted hull is real flexible and can easily get disstorted. Put a little back together then finish the demo if possible. Plan your work and work your plan. Thinking 2 or 3 steps ahead can save a lot of sanding and prep work. It's alot easier to lay a second layer of glass over one that has not completely set rather than doing it the next day or so and have to sand and prep for it. Try to tab over a wet fillet rather than after it has set. Toughest part of the whole job is prep. There is a learning curve to get thru as far a the kick time for the resin. Get plenty of help in lifting the deck off. 6 bodies work well.
