Its always good to shoot trespassers that you can invite to a barbeque.That is, as the main course not the guest of honor! :D Btw, just what kind of critter is that? Its hard to tell from the pic,that and yall got some strange critters down thar in Texas. :p

It's an Axis. Very good meat, and the cool thing there is no season on them. They be year round critters.

yes He is axis I had 3 in my grain field , they escaped high fence I guess. I dont need them , verry prolific breeders, some say they will cross with the local whitetails, I donk know if its so , but for sure he wont. 27" tall x 23" wide.Younger son shot him with 204 ruger, bullit exited with a 1.5" hole. that a varmit rifle, I apears they are very thin skined game. I would estimate body wt at 80# on the hoof.

IMO the sik fooks who import animals for the bleu bloods to kill because they want a "safari" without werking for it suk. People who kill penned animals for bragging rights are sad sobs.
