Aren't "Support Devices" required in some states?

Thats interesting Quantum. What is the year motors the manual is discussing? Mine is a 1969 125 horse. I actually do very little trailering, just a couple miles to the ramp, and it is just to launch at the beginning of the season and retieve at the end of the season. I still don't feel I need a support for my application, but I am not completely against it either if need be. Maybe I'll whip one up just for the sake of arguement, it can't hurt.
