transom

I have deck out and rear seat boxes out. stringers have no rot. cant tell if transom does. its gel coated in and i cant tell if it has rot. seems very sturty. is there a way to check it without tearing into it thanks

Welcome...you can drill some shalow holes in the transom....down low and check for dark wet wood...or light dry wood shaving...light is good....dark is bad...
