I sold a 2010 12'6" 380 which was used about 25 times and last used summer 2017. I pumped it up for the guy and it still had zero leaks. Got a email telling me apparently they never even got it in the water. The weight of the 10 HP was enough to tear the transom off? I suspect he towed it under inflated and there was a lot of jerking going on back there as he flew down the road. But I don't know for sure. Is it possible the glue on the transom was that weak after only nine years?

Bad musique BR, will depend entirely on the quality of the 2 part glue used, add excessive sun radiation punishment these days, poor inflation while using it or while towing with attached motor will contribute for that to happen much faster... Although 100% repairable, will be a costly one for sure unless DIY and knowing how to do it well.

Happy Boating
