I have a 1987 Lund Tyee 4.9. The transom drain has a leak between the collar and the transom. Can anyone advise how to replace the entire assembly and where I would get one?

Re: Transom drain plug assembly replacement

Thanks for the reply. None of the assemblies match what my old Lund has for a transwom drain. I have a 3/4" rubber t tighten plug and the drain tube it goes into is aluminum with a collar inside and outside. This is what leaks, transom is sound.

Well I think it would be better for someone more familiar with your setup to comment, and that probably will not take long so Good Luck!

Seal the collar with 3m5200 ........... The only way it will be replaced is with a welder since it is an aluminum hull.
