Ok guys I need some help here. I bought this boat without realizing it used to be an I/O. It seems solid but will the boat plane and ride correcrly? It has an 88 evinrude off the back. I have attached a couple pics please give your opinions any help is greatly appreciated thanks!

MOST conversions from I/O to outboard or the other way are bad... A true conversion is LOTS of fiberglass work, and not just hanging a motor on the back.

try using photobucket

The glitches that continue to plaque the forum, after a software update, are causing problems w/ posting pix.

Upload your pix there, then copy the IMG code for a pix & paste them in your reply.

IMG code looks like this:
IMG]http://i1246.photobucket.com/albums/other%20people%20boats%20or%20pix%20info/hump-day_zpsac98e868.jpg[/IMG
& pix show up IN your post rather then as attachments that need to be opened:

Your post ^^^ is empty, except the photobucket tag at the bottom.

When you view your photobucket album, there should be 12-20pix all shown at once. Under each pix is several boxes. 1 of them is labeled IMG code

Click & highlight all of the text in that IMG code box. Then right click it & choose copy. Come back to your post/reply window & paste that IMG code IN your reply.

I've never done it, but have seen that photobucket tag copy posted before. In the process of trying to copy the IMG code, you are copying something else & when posted into your reply it comes out as a link to photobucket. Which might be ok if it linked to YOUR photobucket acct. It doesn't it takes me to the PB homepage.....

Try again...

It may be easier to find/copy the IMG code if you click 1 of your pix so that it opens as the only 1 shown. Then the IMG code box should be to the right of the pix, and when you click the text in the IMG code box, it auto copies the IMG code. Then try pasting it in your reply.

Do you have a closer pic of the inside transom and the battery/tank area, the vertical piece to transom. I'm looking for bracing. Is that a piece of steel on the inside of the transom wood?

Yes its on the inside of the transom wood. I was thinking I would need a brace from the steel plate to one of the stringers but maybe I'm wrong
