I have a transom bracket with a Johnson 150. Rite now trimmed all the way down my cavitation plate is about 2 1/4 above the bottom of hull. The bracket extends 22" back. I know when I come off of a plane to an idle the water washes up against the motor up on the cowlen. Can I raise my motor up any further. I don't know where my plate is at when I'm running. The motor is bolted up with very top holes. I just acquired this boat and still working out the kinks. Any help would be appreciated!!
