What can/should be used on transducers to prevent marine growth?
This year I had quite a bit of barnacle growth on my side-scan transducer.
Is it OK to use bottomm paint???

Can I apply Interlux antifouling paint to my transducer?​

Yes, it is recommended that you use a hard antifouling paint that does not contain ketones. Ketones are found in vinyl-based antifouling paints like Baltoplate and VC Offshore. A good antifouling paint to use is Fiberglass Bottomkote or Fiberglass Bottomkote Aqua.
