Trailering

I have a year old boat\trailer with an outboard,going for about 8 hr ride to the keys. A couple questions- what is the proper tilt on the motor? is using a transom bar needed and finally are transon straps needed?

I can only answer one of those questions....The straps, YES!!! I really wouldn't want to trailer without them, your boat is only attatched by a hook on the end of a seat belt if you think about it...

If you need to tilt the engine to keep the skeg at least 10" from the pavement, do it.<br /><br />Good luck.
