Well I finally broke down and unloaded my boat and went through my trailer. I had been neglected for years by the PO.

I dissasembled it, cleaned it, and sandblasted it and then spayed it with primer.

Next I sprayed it in gloss black, added my new carpeted bunks and inner fender liners, new rollers, new winch, new dual wheel jack, new LED lighting, new tires, and I made my own bunk slides with UHMW plastic. Here she is loaded back up.

Great job. did you spray with conventional equipment? What did you sand blast with? I have used a cheap sandblasting pot but it took forever.

Re: Trailer Resto

I used a mid grade sandblaster with kids play sand, it worked but was very time consuming. It would have worked a lot better with a more abrasive media. I sprayed the paint with a commercial airless sprayer, it worked really well.
