My cam is MIA. I tried to upgrade the firmware but I found out it won't do it on a remote battery. Soooo, I need to buy 12 AAs and finish the upgrade. Here it's an hr round trip to get 'em..lol

I haven't gotten a picture of him yet, but there is a HUGE double drop-tine buck cruising the woods about 2 miles from the house. Unfortunately half of the town knows about that buck!

All the years of hunting I've never seen a drop tine. They say they're pretty common, couldn't prove it by me...

Look close at the last picture I posted. I can’t decide if that’s a drop tine or a stick. I’m kinda leaning toward stick.

It is hard to say now that you mention it but even the other side looks like its a bit off so it could very well be. Someone will be able to zoom in on that somehow. That above my pay grade.

I believe it’s a stick. It protrudes on both sides of the tree.

Here is a daytime picture of that spot. I’m going with branch. Can only hope to get a close up of that deer. I set up on travel corridors , cover and natural food sources. I don’t bait or put out blocks, so a close up may not happen.

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see anything in the day time pic that looks like a branch.
