Great site. I'm looking at the Buick because a I drive a Park Avenue now and it's been great. Anybody use a Rainier? I'm also thinking of a Pathfinder or Mountainer. All of them 2005 0r 2006. Pulling an 18 ft I/O. Also, is there a website where you can get details on what a a factory tow package specifically added. Thanx

looking at Buicks specs it should handle it, as long as the trailer has brakes. but i don't think is would do any long distance towing with it. i am also afraid with the short wheel base, you will get the tail wagging the dog effect from the load.

The details should be on the manufactures' site. My explorer tows 3500 + lb 20 fter with no problem ( the mariner has full time aw drive, the explorer has full time auto and manual 4 wd). The ford site has towing specs. I'd want brakes for anything over 2000 lbs.
