Re: Towing questions.. Bayliner Ciera 2455

I have discovered uShip. Within posting an ad, I have already received quite a few bids, all for around 800 bucks for a 750 mile delivery + whatever mileage they travelled getting to the boat to pick it up. Anyone have any experience with uShip? It's kind of like eBay, where you list an item you need shipped, include the pickup location and delivery location in the listing, and then transport companies bid on the delivery. They all have user feedbacks just like eBay. I think 800 bucks is a steal. It would cost me probably a little more than half that in gas for me to drive to FL from Ky and then back again, in a gas guzzling tow-worthy vehicle. And then if I had to rent that vehicle, end up costing the same. Now I can avoid being the one to have to drive it. I think I'm just gonna drive down there in my 51 mpg Diesel VW and take a look at the boat, then go from there.
