I was thinking that motoring thru that ice must be hard on a prop!

An empty stomach is what drives that activity !!-----Often assistance from tax $$$ makes it easy to get a new prop or new motor.

That video sure makes me feel old and soft
In my 30's That would have been fun, also the reason 1 of mine was an outboard.
But now if the wind blows more than 10 mph, I don't go on the water.
Justifying it as "older and wiser "
Good news is haven't had to hail the C.G. in 20 years! Not to mention on the Great lakes most stations are closed for the winter after Labor day.

Our boats hit the water in hunting season as long as we can launch through the ice. Some days the launch ramp is really tricky ... especially after a few launches and ice build-up. I consider myself more stupid than bold! LOL!
