Touching up a fibre glass boat

I'm looking to touch up my red fibre glass boat but don't know what paint to use? Is the a certain type of paint I should use?

I don't want my boat to go dull but can't afford a full recoat!

You'll need to post some photos so everyone can see what you're talking about. Normally glass boats aren't painted, but the color is a pigment in the gel coat. If your gel is starting to get dull it may need as little as buffing to as much as being wet sanded and then buffed, followed by waxing.
