Torque Spec for Bravo 5.0 MPI Coupler Bolts

Would anyone know which is the correct torque spec:

(1) 50 ft lbs per the service manual 90-864260001
OR
(2) 35.4 ft lbs per the piece of paper that came in the bag with the new coupler bolts

Engine:5.0L MPI BRAVO - 0M600000 THRU 0W059999
The coupler is an OEM Mercruiser coupler # 8M0098795

Outstanding. I already tightened them to 50 ft lbs. Before I un-torque and re-torgue them to the lower figure, any thoughts on what this might do to the orange stuff that was on the new bolt threads?

The orange stuff is loctite

Permatex® High Strength Removable Threadlocker Orange Gel, 5 G - Permatex

I would install with new loctite if not Orange at least Blue

Orange has the strength of Red but can be removed like Blue
