bass4brains, that looks a lot like a hula -popper.
Same concept as your lure?

Yeah, buzzbaits can work well, especially during unusually warm weather while day fishing in the slop. Buzzbaits seem to trigger bass by their pure instinct, which is what is needed during the dog days of summer, when the bass may be in a neutral feeding mood.

These are very fun lures to catch bass on!

You are so correct about the fun factor with buzz baits. It gets your blood pumping to have a large bass explode out of the water at a buzz bait on a calm quiet morning.

Bass Buster, the popper version, is similar to a hula popper except it's slightly smaller, The biggest difference is that both carry a single 3/0 wide gap hook & 4" or 5" grub rigged Texas style to make'em weedless. The one in the avitar is better for pads and snaking thu weeds that have emerged above the water & carolinaing thru pre emergant weed beds. The popper's better on points and up in tree tops where treble hooked lures would only snag up on every thing in sight. You can even crawl them over logs or thru tree tops try crawling a zoro spook , hula popper or even a buzz bait over a log and you'll know what I mean.
