For those of you who have been following/helping, I thought I'd give a final update.
Got her out again finally on third (if include original tank full of old fuel) tank of gas. Running better. Idle came up on it's own (which I originally had to bump up) enough that I had to adjust it back down so it wasn't slamming into gear.
Now seeing approx 3900 rpm and 37 mph. I can hear the secondaries working.
Come spring I hope to go through the timing. A friend of mine mentioned the distributor weights could be stuck and as a result the timing would be affected. This is my next check and I'm hopeful that he's correct.
I'll be lucky to find time to get further in to it this fall or get the boat out any more this year, as it looks like our Montana fall is here, so it probably will be next spring till I can devote time again to it.
